January 11th, 2010 Meeting Minutes

New Business: Going to cancel Book Fair in Febuary, instead , have one in May. We are going see if we can just have a regular one instead of the half off one when youbuy one at regular price.

Need to male up flyer to send home for kids and put on the PTO home page. This event is January 23rd Saturday from 6:00 to 10 pm. Will have concession which will include Fresh Fruit and Gronola Bars. Also we will have just Candy Bars, lots of water and Gatoraide to drink. At door we will have a pad of paper to write down emergancy numbers and info on the kids staying for the YMCA Family night. We ask that parents leaving younger children to stay with them instead of dropping them off and leaving. I will be there to work the door or concessions whereever you want to put me.

An email was sent to Eric by Keri Rigg for an donation for an assembly the Middle school will be putting on. The Assembly is about bullying. It was deceided that this was not a good time for us to donate but possibly next year will be a better time for us.

Kelly Gotha has the Smoothie Day, which is planned for May 7th, all covered and taken care off business wise. We will need help that day to run the mixers, thought of 4 stations that day. Nice job Kelly on getting the legal and proper procedures done. Thank you very much Kelly.

April 15th is the Movie Night. We are going to see Diary Of An Whimpy Kid at Pheonix Theaters.

For eric the info we had for the 7th and 8th Grade Skatin was planned for sometime in March.

Kelly also has been a very busy Lady, she has procurred a $500  Grant for the Robotics Program. Which started this Monday and off to a great start. Thank you Kelly.

We have a date set for March 20th for Bowling, Kelly Jeffs will find out if that date is ok and get back to us on that.

Looking into tha Battery Fund Raiser and see if we would like to get involved in it.

Kurt Huss (not sure of spelling) is running the Basketball Program. It is $40 fee which involves the Jersery, Referees, and the Time Clocks. Have until January 21 to sign up.

I checked into the BoxTops to see about getting a Box for us but it will cost us some money. As to the cambells same thing.
